gettin' my booties on

As you may recall from my Christmas Wish List, I've been dying to get the Tory Burch Halima Suede Booties for about forever now. Well, imagine my excitement when I woke up this afternoon and opened an email for Tory Burch's Private Sale. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that the booties are now only $128!!! That's bananas considering they originally cost $450!!! I've seen them go on sale for $248, but $128... now that's something to do cartwheels for!!!
One dilemma I did have was trying to choose which color to go for. Black is always hot & classic, but I'm just lovin the distress look on the walnut color. And I couldn't believe they carried my size on both.... which makes deciding 10x harder. So in the end, instead of doing the eenie meenie miney moe, I decided to... hunny don't kill me... get both! I just couldn't turn down a great sale!!! Come on, the price of both pairs is equivalent to half of the original price of one pair!!! Can't go wrong with that!!
Now, I know they're last season but I just don't give a flyin' flute!!! Whether I pair them up with shorts and a blazer, or a dress with a motorcycle jacket, I'm gonna find a way to fit them into my spring wardrobe! And of course, fall will be waiting patiently for them.

baggin' it!

I'm a fan of GET IT girl style by Tam Styles. Her blog offers inspiration on interior design & fashion. Under one of her labels, BAGGIN, she features submissions from other bloggers and what is lurking inside their bags. How cool right?!? I briefly thought about submitting mine but quickly deaded that idea. Why, because first, I'm obviously not a "big dog" blogger, so I highly doubt I will be featured... and second, I'm sporting one of my smaller bags today which doesn't hold everything I would normally be carrying.
I change bags as often as I change outfits, literally! I don't really have an "every day" bag. I choose which bag I rock based on what I'm wearing and where I'm going. Yeeess, I'm a bagaholic {amongst other things}! I ♥ bags, especially the expensive ones {just keepin' it real lol}!

tory ♥s japan

I'm loving how celebs & designers are using their fame to help aid Japan just as they did for Haiti.
My fave is {well, I'm sure you can all guess} Tory Burch's We ♥ Japan t-shirt.
Japan Relief T-Shirt are selling for $29.00 and include free standard shipping from TORYBURCH.COM . 100% of the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross to benefit the Japan relief efforts. Visit the link for more details and to order your very own. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

daily deliveries

There's nothing better than waking up or coming home and finding a package waiting for you to be opened! The excitement of frantically trying to find a knife or scissor to open the box and then rummaging through all the bubble wrap and tissue paper to get to the buried treasure, feels like Christmas all over again. Only this time all the gifts are to and from dear ol' me.

***you may recognize some of the items from my Spring Goodies list

I admit, I do tend to spoil myself a tad bit, sometimes more than I should. But I can't help it, I'm a girl who ♥s to SHOP. As long as the mortgage & bills are paid and there is no baby(s) in the picture {not yet at least} , then there is nothing wrong with splurging on yourself. My motto is work hard, shop hard.
There is this huge part of me that can't help but feel extremely GUILTY for indulging myself with all these materialistic things when the people of Japan are going through so much suffering & turmoil. Although it is absolutely heartbreaking, it's a constant reminder that we need to live life to the fullest because everything can be taken away at any given time with a snap of a finger! We have to continue to enjoy all the good things life delivers {even the materialistic ones}, and thank God for his daily blessings.

Keep JAPAN in your thoughts and prayers ♥

Kiss & Tell

If you are a SEPHORAholic please raise your hand! And if you're anything like me, I'm sure you have both hands up swinging right now lol! I ♥ that store. I can probably spend days lost in there! Any time my gals and I discovery a new product, we're automatically convincing each other to try it.
I've been meaning to participate in their Kiss & Tell reviews, but unfortunately I still haven't taken the time to. I figured I would take this opportunity to give you my personal reviews on some of my new current faves... and maybe even convince some of you to go out and try them:)
Below are a few goodies that every makeup lovin' gal out there needs to try... hopefully one of them will work great for you!

1. CHANEL #10 Contour Brush $43: this is a must have tool. It enables you to apply the perfect amount of blush at a perfect angle with every stroke.

2. CLINQUE CHUBBY STICKS $15: WOW!!! Best tinted lip balm ever! Gives you just the right amount of color & moisture. They come in so many different shades, {my fave is chunky cherry} I'm sure you'll find the perfect one for you! But don't be surprise if you have a hard time getting a hold of these chunksters, they are sold out most of the time.

3. GIVENCHY Phenomen' Eyes Mascara $29.50: Ya know how they say it's good to switch up your shampoos every few weeks, well I wonder if that goes for mascara too!?! I always wanted to try a round tip mascara and this one immediately caught my eye. It doesn't necessarily give my lashes the longest look, but it does a great job with volumizing, separating, & giving lashes that "fanned out" look. I'm definitely feelin' the results... Now I have 3 tubes of mascara to rotate with!

4.SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL BRONZING MAKEUP $48 : this is the creme de la creme of bronzers! It's CHANEL, need I say more.
*this was actually purchased at Bloomies along with the contour brush*

5. Joise Maran Argan Oil Organic Moisturizer $14 0.5 oz -$48 1.7oz: I was very reluctant to try this at first. Seriously, who wants to put pure oil on their face!?! But after hearing all the raves & reviews from my girl Aims, {who literally gave me her own bottle so I had no choice but to try it... Oh she also convinced me to try the CHANEL bronzer} I gave in. Can I just say OOoo EEMm GEEe!!! This sh*t is amazing. I can't really describe it so you'll just have to try for yourself!

6. Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch Touche Éclat $40: I was first introduced to this by my fave make up artist who recommended me to buy it. She applied it on me on my wedding day and it kept me looking fresh & brighted eyed. Sadly I lost my little applicator the next day. It's pretty pricey and I didn't think I was going to be using that often, so I didn't rush to buy it again until recently. Now I really don't know if I can ever do without it. I use it as a highlighter but it's also great as a concealer.

6. Mini Lovable Lamb Pillow Pet I've been wanting one of these cuties for a while now. I figured since I will be traveling via plane a few times this year, this cutie can make napping a little more comfortable.

7. PRADA PR 51MS Aviators since my auntie confiscated my white Tom Ford Aviators last summer, I'm in need of a replacement. These will do just fine.
